      Dear All

I have been contacted by an Italian fellow (Andrea Govetto) who is currently a consultant in a public ophthalmic hospital in Milan. I have done some joint research projects with Andrea and he has worked with several friends. He is looking for a UK fellowship and is free from October/November. Its possible that some of you may be actively looking for a new fellow to start in the short term…

Andrea says “I have spent two years in a clinical and research retina fellowship at the UCLA in the US with Dr. Hubschman. I have great clinical expertise in medical and surgical retina (with a particular focus on retinal imaging). I have published some relevant and original papers.

Although I am fully trained and independent in cataract surgery, I need further training in retina surgery. I had basic training and experience in both vitrectomy and scleral buckling but in that field I am not feeling truly independent.
If you need further references about me, you can ask JP Hubschman from LA, Mario Romano from Milan and Marta Figueroa from Milan.
Thank you so much for your help and consideration!
      Andrea Govetto MD, PhD ”

      His email is a.govetto@gmail.com

      Best wishes
